About PlayMetrics
PlayMetrics is a fast growing B2B SaaS company revolutionizing the way youth sports organizations operate. Our industry-leading platform is trusted by thousands of clubs, leagues, and governing bodies to manage operations, communication, scheduling, and player development, all in one place.
Note: This is a full-time position, and we are looking for a local North Carolina resident to work in the office at our Morrisville, NC headquarters, currently hybrid work-from-home two days per week, but subject to the Company's needs and policies in the future. This position does not offer relocation assistance.
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Contract Administrator to support commercial contract drafting, review, administration, and document management across PlayMetrics and its affiliated entities.
This role will help maintain consistent contract processes, manage contract documentation and systems, and support the organization’s growing volume of commercial agreements. The ideal candidate has experience working with commercial contracts in an in-house legal environment or law firm and is comfortable managing multiple priorities, learning new systems, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
This is an administrative and contract management role, with legal counsel providing guidance on substantive legal questions and contract negotiations.
What You’ll Do
- Draft and prepare contracts: Prepare, review, and maintain standard commercial agreements, including software licenses, customer agreements, vendor agreements, marketing agreements, API agreements, trademark licenses, NDAs, waivers, releases, and related documentation.
- Manage contract workflows: Coordinate contract review, approvals, execution, amendments, renewals, and recordkeeping.
- Maintain contract systems: Administer contract management tools, maintain centralized records, and track key dates, obligations, and renewals.
- Support contract review: Review templates and completed agreements for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with established processes, escalating questions or potential risks to legal counsel.
- Generate PlayBooks: Develop and maintain a contract administration playbook outlining standardized processes, acceptable terms, approval requirements, and contract execution.
- Prepare RFP Responses: Coordinate and support RFP (Requests for Proposal) responses by gathering required information from internal stakeholders, preparing and organizing documentation, tracking submission deadlines, and ensuring responses are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Coordinate across teams: Work within legal, finance, operations, and other internal stakeholders to keep contract workflows moving efficiently.
- Improve processes: Identify opportunities to streamline contract administration, improve documentation, and create more efficient, repeatable workflows.
- Support system implementation: Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing administration of contract management software.
- Manage competing priorities: Communicate workload and capacity, adapt to changing business needs, and proactively seek guidance when needed.
