  • Ensure projects adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Escalate issues to leadership when needed, providing clear options and recommendations.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes related to trade compliance activities.
  • Support the development and rollout of standardized processes, operating models, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with SMEs to document current‑state and future‑state workflows.

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Support global trade strategy execution, including duty‑savings programs, supply chain impact analyses, and data‑driven decision support.
  • Assist with project‑based analysis related to tariff impacts, geopolitical shifts, and sourcing changes.
  • Coordinate system enhancements, updates, or implementations related to HTS classification, origin determination, valuation, and trade master data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of project management experience, ideally supporting global, cross‑functional initiatives preferred
  • Strong project management fundamentals—equivalent to PMP‑level capability (PMP certification preferred but not required).
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi‑workstream projects in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting or managing global trade compliance, supply chain, or regulatory projects preferred.
  • Understanding of customs concepts such as tariffs, HTS classification, country of origin, duty‑savings programs, and valuation.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
