About the Engagement MML is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support staffing needs for our new project, The Aspen Chalet. This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment relationship. The Contract Recruiter will be engaged to achieve defined outcomes, including sourcing, screening, and reporting on qualified candidates. Scope of Services The contractor will be engaged to provide the following recruiting services for Aspen-based MML properties: Candidate Sourcing & Screening Identify and source qualified candidates for restaurant, hotel, and support roles at Aspen-based MML properties, using the contractor's own sourcing methods, tools, and channels Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit Provide MML HR with detailed written notes and assessments on each pre-screened candidate Pipeline Management Build and maintain an organized pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated openings Provide periodic updates to MML HR on pipeline status and candidate availability Reporting Deliver candidate notes, screening summaries, and pipeline updates to MML HR in an agreed-upon format and cadence Track and report relevant recruiting metrics (e.g., pipeline volume, source of candidates) as requested by MML HR for business purposes What We're Looking For 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within hospitality, restaurants, or a multi-unit environment Demonstrated success in high-volume and specialized recruiting Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques; familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) a plus Ability to independently manage candidate relationships and deliver organized, detailed written reporting Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information Bilingual in Spanish (written and spoken) strongly preferred but not required Nature of the Relationship This is an independent contractor engagement. The contractor is not an employee of MML Hospitality and is not entitled to employee benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, or participation in company benefit plans. The contractor determines the manner, means, and methods by which services are performed, including hours worked and work location. The contractor may use their own equipment, tools, and resources to perform the services, and may engage in similar work for other clients during the term of this engagement, provided it does not create a conflict of interest. The contractor is responsible for their own applicable taxes; MML will issue a Form 1099 reflecting payments made under this engagement. MML HR may provide access to systems (e.g., ATS) as reasonably necessary for the contractor to deliver the agreed-upon services, but does not direct the contractor's day-to-day process. MML does not control the contractor's working hours, work location, or the specific manner or method by which services are performed; the Contract Recruiter retains full discretion over how and when that work gets done. Engagement type: 1099 Independent Contractor Compensation: Hourly rate ($55-$65 hourly, DOE), invoiced by the contractor Location: Aspen, CO or surrounding areas (contractor determines own work location; no requirement to work on-site or from a company-designated location) Schedule: Determined solely by the contractor; MML does not set or track working hours Reports to: MML HR (for deliverables and candidate reporting purposes only — not for day-to-day direction or supervision) Prior to commencement of services, the contractor may be asked to complete a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, and criminal records, consistent with applicable law.
