Job Summary: The Controller is responsible for overseeing LYT's Finance and Accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information. This role provides financial oversight, analysis, and decision support to the leadership team, while coordinating with an external accounting partner who performs day-to-day accounting activities. As an execution-oriented professional, the Controller plays a key part in processing financial information that supports effective resource allocation and the company's overall operational growth. Key Responsibilities: The Controller is responsible for managing all aspects of Finance and Accounting functions at LYT including, but not limited to: Reviewing and interpreting financial statements prepared by an external accounting firm and identifying significant variances, anomalies, or areas requiring further investigation. Ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations (taxes, compliance, etc.) Providing data and analysis for sound decision making Tracking business performance Conducting cost/benefit analyses Monitoring cash balances and cash flow and coordinating routine cash management activities. Communicating to internal and external (customers, brokers, investors, partners, etc.) stakeholders as required Serve as the primary internal point of contact for external accounting, tax, banking, and other financial service providers; monitor deliverables, timelines, and quality of work. Providing information to support key internal processes like pricing, RFP responses, sales tax, budget development and tracking, M&A support, etc. Other duties as required Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience Ability to succinctly summarize and communicate complex financial data and analyses to convey the broader strategic picture Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or other related field CPA preferred What We Offer: At LYT, we believe in fostering a work environment that prioritizes flexibility and work-life balance.
