Controls Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, engineering, controls, or OT experience.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and controls systems (Rockwell, Siemens, or Bosch preferred).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering controls, and change management.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear operational business rules and influence stakeholders across functions.
• Experience with MES platforms, SQL, JavaScript, Industry 4.0, or IoT technologies is a plus.

What you will do:

Lead MES & Equipment Integration

• Partner with plant engineering teams and system integrators to connect MES software with PLCs, HMIs, scanners, quality systems, and production equipment while ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Drive Standardization Across Plants

• Develop and maintain controls standards, machine states, recipe parameters, equipment interfaces, and operational protocols that support consistency across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Support Enterprise Digital Transformation

• Serve as the bridge between operations, engineering, and technology teams to define requirements, support MES deployments, drive adoption, and contribute to Rockline’s Industry 4.0 and AI initiatives.
