A little bit about our team:
Our team sets up, schedules, and gathers all the pieces for new digital releases to be delivered to digital service providers like Spotify, Apple, etc., and also new physical releases (Vinyl, CDs, Cassettes), to be manufactured. We ensure that all digital and physical products appear in the marketplace as intended by the label and artist.
Your role:
You will play an integral role in supporting Warner Records, Warner Records Nashville and 10K Projects. This position will handle day-to-day support on products with various digital service providers as well as operations processes. The ideal candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize various tasks in an ever-changing environment will also be key.
Here you’ll get to:
- Run the production schedules, ensuring their accuracy and sending out to large distribution lists; you’ll also build and send the Daily Schedule Changes memo, with late-breaking changes not yet published in the schedule.
- Assist with setting up and scheduling products to digital service providers, often making numerous changes to setup both before and after product delivery.
- Be responsible for coordinating new album and single releases on a weekly basis for releases assigned to you. This includes verifying that audio/video, art, metadata, and scheduling, and pricing are in place and compliant with current industry standards.
- See your projects through by completing digital bill of materials (dBOM) approval for delivery to digital service providers.
- Conduct weekly checks to ensure products assigned to you have successfully completed delivery to accounts and reconcile the release details back to the release intention.
- Handle takedowns and price changes as requested by the labels.
- Coordinate the delivery and tracking of all digital releases for your assigned projects.
- Enter in-network video claims for video products live at YouTube.
- Utilize automated robot to create still image audio products for delivery to YouTube.
- Provide coverage for absent team members.
About you:
- Creative self-starter with exceptional follow-up skills.
- General understanding of current digital music distribution partners and industry best practices.
- Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities, as well as in the work environment, and can be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks.
- Minimum one year experience in the music industry.
- Data analysis/research skills.
- You have knowledge of digital retailer metadata requirements and broad knowledge of the audio production process.
- You have great people skills, able to work with varied personalities at many levels of the company.
- You’re extremely flexible, are extremely detail-oriented, like constant change, and are comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and last-minute requests.
- You’re a problem solver with a keen deadline awareness.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- You possess a genuine interest in music and the music business.
- You have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- You’re a team player, who can tolerate ambiguity.
We’d love it if you also had:
• Mastery of Excel, including formulas for date calculation and calendaring.
• Experience with music industry production schedules.
• Experience using and designing workflows in AirTable.
