As Coordinator Inbound/Outbound Material Flow (all genders), you are responsible for the entire material flow around our production orders, from calling off the required raw materials to returning material that is no longer needed. You have experience in material planning and production logistics and want to help drive the ESN & More Nutrition brands forward?

Your mission

• You take over requirements from production planning, check their feasibility and closely align quantities and schedules with the planning team
• You order and coordinate deliveries from our external warehouse in Kaltenkirchen and other warehouses, and optimize the flow of raw materials together with staging and warehouse teams
• You monitor safety stock levels, identify deviations early and take corrective action
• You keep track of production cancellations and postponements and assess which material needs to be returned and which can remain on site
• You schedule returns efficiently on existing empty truck runs and ensure transparency for everyone involved through accurate status tracking
• You keep an eye on space utilization in goods receipt and outbound, making sure no material blocks storage areas or slows down transports
• You set priorities during bottlenecks, respond quickly to short-term schedule changes and are the first point of contact for all questions regarding material supply to production
• You play a key role in building the returns process, analyze weak points based on KPIs and continuously improve the entire material flow between warehouse and production

Your experience & skills

• You have completed vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in material planning, production logistics or production planning and understand how planning and material flows are connected
• You are confident working with warehouse management systems; ideally, you also have experience with SAP
• You work independently and in a structured way, and keep a clear overview even under time pressure when demand and capacity collide
• You are a team player, communicate confidently with production, planning and warehouse teams, and enjoy being on site in Elmshorn or Kaltenkirchen, alternating with working from home
• You are flexible when it counts and support outside core working hours when needed, for example during production ramp-ups or short-term schedule changes
• You are fluent in German, both written and spoken
