Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers who contribute to PT Meta Universe Indonesia’s community and online initiatives. This role includes recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking volunteer activities, and maintaining clear communication with volunteers through digital channels. The coordinator will design and deliver training materials, provide guidance on tasks, and ensure volunteers understand the company’s goals and standards. Day-to-day tasks also involve coordinating community outreach activities, collecting feedback from volunteers, and preparing simple reports on participation and impact. The coordinator works closely with internal teams to align volunteer efforts with ongoing projects and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively recruit, onboard, and support volunteers.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build relationships and maintain clear, respectful interactions with volunteers and team members.
• Candidates should possess experience or interest in Community Outreach to help plan and coordinate activities that engage customers and communities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use online collaboration tools.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in scheduling and tracking volunteer contributions.
• Previous experience in volunteer coordination, community programs, or customer engagement is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with online platforms and social media; familiarity with Indonesian e-commerce marketplaces is a plus.
