Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that align with ecoCare Pest Control’s mission and services. Typical day-to-day tasks include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling assignments, and maintaining clear communication with volunteers and internal teams. The Coordinator will design and deliver basic training for volunteers, ensure they understand safety, service standards, and organizational guidelines, and track participation and performance. This role also involves coordinating virtual or local community outreach initiatives, keeping accurate records of volunteer hours and activities, and preparing brief reports for management. The Coordinator of Volunteers collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure volunteers are engaged, informed, and able to contribute effectively to service and outreach programs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively recruit, onboard, and support volunteers.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build relationships, provide clear guidance, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess skills in Community Outreach to plan and support initiatives that raise awareness of ecoCare Pest Control’s services and mission.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and maintain organized records of volunteer activities.
• Prior experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, or non-profit initiatives is beneficial.
• Familiarity with basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing platforms) for remote coordination and communication.
• Interest in environmental health, hygiene services, or pest management is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in social sciences, community development, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
