Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: At Pentoz, we are focused on delivering efficient, scalable, and impactful eCommerce solutions across industries. As a CoreCommerce Developer, you will lead the customization, optimization, and integration of online stores using the CoreCommerce platform. You will work closely with our design, content, and strategy teams to implement client-specific features and ensure high-performing, user-friendly digital storefronts. This role is ideal for developers who have experience working within hosted eCommerce SaaS environments and can translate business requirements into powerful technical solutions. You Will Be Responsible For: Store Customization: Developing custom themes, layouts, and templates tailored to client branding and product strategies within the CoreCommerce platform. Feature Implementation: Adding or extending store features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CoreCommerce’s templating system to enhance shopping experiences. Product & Content Management: Assisting in the structuring and automation of product listings, categories, and related content through dynamic configurations. Third-Party Integration: Connecting CoreCommerce stores with external services such as CRMs, ERPs, inventory management systems, email marketing tools, and payment gateways. Performance Optimization: Improving site load times, mobile responsiveness, and checkout efficiency to boost conversions and customer satisfaction. Security & Maintenance: Ensuring data security, SSL configuration, regular updates, and SaaS platform compliance for smooth store operations. Client Collaboration: Interfacing with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct reviews, implement feedback, and support store updates and marketing campaigns. Reporting & Analytics: Setting up and customizing reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics integrations such as Google Analytics or custom tracking. This Role Is For You If: You have 2+ years of experience working with CoreCommerce or similar eCommerce SaaS platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Volusion, Shopify). You are skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. You understand the eCommerce lifecycle—from product uploads to order management and customer engagement. You’re detail-oriented and passionate about clean UI, smooth UX, and conversion-driven development. You can work independently and manage multiple client requests in a deadline-driven environment. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience migrating stores to or from CoreCommerce. Knowledge of CoreCommerce’s backend tools, advanced shipping/payment setups, and template logic. Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and automation tools like Zapier. Experience with SEO implementation and schema markup in eCommerce stores. Portfolio showcasing CoreCommerce or similar platform-based store development.
