The US Accounting Department at Tricon Energy is a multinational team with global coverage, overseeing the following functions: Financial Reporting Tax Special Projects Roles & Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Month end close responsibilities which includes: Review monthly account reconciliations Analyze account variances Prepare and book journal entries Assist with financial statement preparation Assist with the review of statutory audits in foreign countries This role will interface with senior management, FP&A, risk, treasury, human resources, external consultants, and the commercial trading team, each with members globally. Strong interpersonal Communication skills are required. Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required CA Mandatory Post CA Qualification minimum 3 years of in accounting experience at a mid to large company. Team Handling Experience is preferred. Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or financial services preferred Strong technical proficiency in Excel required Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle BI Enterprise Edition a plus)
