Gen Re currently offers an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Executive Assistant to work in our Stamford office. This is a hybrid role that requires the individual to be in the Stamford office 3 days a week. A remote working arrangement will be considered for the right candidate.
Role Description
The Corporate Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to a team of senior leaders, serving as a critical liaison across external partners including Berkshire sister companies, regulators, internal teams and key clients. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, problem solving and client service capabilities. The position is ideal for a proactive professional who excels at managing multiple stakeholders, anticipating needs, and enabling leaders to operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Administrative Expertise
- Coordinates, schedules, and supports meetings—including creating agendas, preparing and assembling materials, arranging logistics, and ensuring flawless execution.
- Manages comprehensive domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring accuracy in itineraries and timely submission of expense reports.
- Conducts research, pulls data, and prepares reports to support executive decision-making.
- Oversees accurate and efficient calendar and email management, anticipating conflicts and prioritizing requests.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Concur, ensuring seamless coordination of daily workflows.
- Maintains a working understanding of the organization’s structure, business units, and operations to support leaders effectively.

Role Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years of executive-level administrative support experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success working in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and tools, including modern web-enabled applications.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), plus Concur.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Microsoft Copilot across the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, generate insights, automate routine tasks, and improve communication.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary Range
84,000.00 - 142,000.00 USDThe annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the US and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
