Corporate Legal Counsel

At TaxStore Consulting, we advise businesses on the intersection of corporate, tax, accounting and financial matters, supporting them through both their day-to-day operations and more complex corporate transactions.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join our team in Athens.

We are looking for a commercially minded lawyer who understands how businesses operate and can translate legal requirements into practical, business-oriented solutions.

Working closely with our senior leadership and our tax, finance and accounting professionals, you will act as a trusted legal advisor across a diverse portfolio of corporate matters and clients.

The Role

You will take ownership of a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters, with particular focus on:

• Corporate governance and ongoing legal support of Greek companies

• Incorporation of new entities and corporate restructurings

• Drafting and amendment of Articles of Association and other corporate documentation

• Preparation of Board of Directors and General Meeting minutes, resolutions and corporate approvals

• Corporate filings, registrations and announcements with G.E.MI.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and service agreements

• Structuring and documenting intra-group transactions and intercompany arrangements, including agreements between parent companies and subsidiaries

• Providing legal input on corporate transactions in close cooperation with Tax, Finance and Accounting teams

• Coordinating with external counsel, notaries, authorities and other professional advisors when required

Beyond technical legal expertise, the role requires the ability to understand the commercial, financial and tax context behind each matter and contribute to solutions that work in practice.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a lawyer with approximately 5–8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally combining a strong corporate law background with meaningful in-house Legal Counsel / Legal Advisor experience.

You should have:

• A Law degree from a Greek University

• Strong knowledge of Greek corporate and commercial law

• Hands-on experience with corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters

• Solid experience with company incorporations, Articles of Association, Board and Shareholders’ documentation and G.E.MI. procedures

• Experience in intra-group transactions, intercompany agreements and parent–subsidiary structures

• Exposure to the professional or business services sector would be highly valued

• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage matters independently
