Corporate Payroll Lead

Position Overview

The Corporate Payroll Lead is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and necessary reporting. They are responsible to guide and support the Payroll Specialist and support and Support and backup the Report Specialist.

Key Result Areas

Oversee the corporate semi-monthly payroll processing to ensure it is done timely and accurately:

• Audit tax errors, compensation changes, new hires, address changes, and employees on leave.

• Send out reminder emails to staff for end of pay period

• Edit pay period schedule if revisions are needed.

• Process Corp Payrolls

• Audit time entry, retro reports, registers, and each company thoroughly

• Complete adjustments (bonuses, severance, missed earnings not caught on retro report)

• Review error reports provided by OSV

Complete federal and state compliance reports, and routine company status reports on time and accurately:

• Complete quarterly:

• SAIF quarterly reports and breakdown for Finance

• Update and/or create Leadership Bonus reports Complete monthly:

• Severance payments/tracking

• Severance report

• WOTC report

• SAIF code audit/corrections

• Labor reports

• Audit benefits and garnishments

• Audit terminations and follow up on severance

• Workers comp reporting

Complete tasks annually, and maintain clear, open communication with HR and Finance departments:

• Complete annually:

• W2s

• Update Payroll Calendars for payroll teams and Operators

• SAIF and other WC audits

• Gross wages by state

• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• 5 years payroll, supervision, manager level experience required

• BA/BS degree preferred

• DB shop leadership experience preferred

• Understanding of accounting, payroll and payroll tax processes.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team with all levels

Location Requirements:

This position is eligible for remote work in any state that Dutch Bros Coffee has business operations.

• Occasionally move or lift office items

• Must be able to work in an office environment

• Must be able to communicate in an effective manner to perform job duties

• Vision must be good or corrected in order to perform essential job duties

• Hearing must be good or corrected in order to have the ability to understand information to perform essential job duties

• Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, computers, and office equipment
