We're hiring a Cosmetic Formulation Chemist

SWIPES is a skincare brand creating all-in-one skincare in individually wrapped wipes. We're launching soon, and we want to fully own what goes in our products.

Your first job is to make sure we have a high-quality skincare product: actives at levels that actually work, and a formula that's stable and safe on skin. Then get the scent and cooling right: make the scent last, make it smell real, and set the cooling level where it should be. After that, you'll help us build what comes next.

What you'd do

• Own our formulas end to end, in writing, so any manufacturer can be held to an exact spec

• Make sure every formula is effective, stable skincare that feels good and is safe on skin

• Fix and improve fragrance performance and stability in wipe lotions

• Develop new skincare formulas

• Work with our manufacturers and testing labs, and check their work against your spec

You might be a fit if you

• Have formulated and launched skincare or personal care products

• Know fragrance, stability, preservatives and cosmetic safety

• Write clear, exact specs

• Take initiative and don't wait to be told what's wrong

Location: Remote

Type: Contract, full-time hours to start, with a path to a permanent role
