The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Australia and New Zealand Human Resources team.
This is a broad and influential role, partnering with leaders and employees across Consulting, Digital, Executive Search, Talent Acquisition and Corporate functions. You'll play a key role in delivering people strategies that support business growth while creating an exceptional employee experience.
As a trusted advisor to leaders, you'll help shape organisational effectiveness, guide complex people matters, support talent development, and contribute to a high-performance culture aligned to Korn Ferry's values and business objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with business leaders and the broader HR team, you will:
- Partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation and organisational effectiveness.
- Coach and support managers through complex people matters and workforce decisions.
- Deliver talent, succession and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support annual compensation and reward processes.
- Contribute to employee engagement, learning and development, and culture initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies across Australia and New Zealand.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR programs, processes and employee experiences.
- Leverage data and insights to inform people-related decisions and recommendations.
About You
You are a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and influencing outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, with exposure to New Zealand employment practices highly regarded.
- Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at multiple levels.
- Experience managing employee relations and performance management matters.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication, judgement and problem-solving capability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
