Are you a highly organised administrator with a keen eye for detail and an interest in supporting legal aid costs recovery?
You will support our specialist Childcare Costs Team, helping to maximise fee recovery, reduce lock-up and maintain strong financial hygiene across Legal Aid matters. Working closely with colleagues in our Childcare and Matrimonial teams, you will play a key role in ensuring costs claims, disbursements and records are accurate and managed efficiently. The Childcare Costs Team provides a specialist costs service, supporting the financial and operational success of matters across the firm.
This will be a part time role, working 19.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit Legal Aid Agency payment claims via CCMS
- Record and manage counsel fees, invoices and disbursements
- Maintain accurate costs and financial records
- Support billing activity and prompt fee recovery
- Work with legal teams to maximise matter value and recovery
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Numerate with good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Professional, confidential and customer-focused approach
- CCMS, Aderant or time-recording experience desirable
