Country Director – UAE

Role Description The Country Director – UAE (part-time, remote) will lead LAW ADDA INTERNSHIP CELL’s presence and activities related to the United Arab Emirates. This role includes identifying and verifying publicly available legal internship opportunities in the UAE, organizing and curating listings, and ensuring accurate and clear communication of these opportunities on relevant platforms. The Country Director will build and maintain relationships with universities, law firms, legal organizations, and student communities to expand the visibility and reach of the internship listings. Daily activities may involve online research, outreach via email or social media, coordination of information-sharing campaigns, and reporting on regional trends and opportunities. The role requires independent work, adherence to ethical standards, and alignment with the organization’s non-commercial, information-sharing purpose.

Qualifications

• Strong research and information-gathering skills, especially in the legal or education sectors within the UAE.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with academic institutions, legal entities, and student networks.
• Comfort with remote work, including effective time management, self-motivation, and digital collaboration.
• Familiarity with social media and basic digital tools for outreach, content sharing, and community engagement.
• Background or ongoing studies in law, legal studies, public policy, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to transparent, non-discriminatory practices.
