Country Director – UAE

Role Description The Country Director – UAE will lead ASR Techno’s operations and growth initiatives in Dubai and across the United Arab Emirates. This part-time, hybrid role involves developing and executing country-level business and brand strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. The Country Director will oversee local project delivery, coordinate with global leadership, and ensure alignment with ASR Techno’s brand strategy framework. Key responsibilities include managing partnerships, guiding marketing and business development activities, and monitoring performance against revenue and expansion targets. The role is primarily based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home to support strategic planning, reporting, and remote coordination.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in business leadership, country or regional management, and strategic decision-making.
• Experience in brand strategy, positioning, and market entry or expansion in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Background in marketing, media planning, or integrated communications with a focus on brand-building.
• Ability to analyze market data, assess competitive landscapes, and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Proven experience managing hybrid teams and coordinating cross-functional work across on-site and remote settings.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial.
• Deep understanding of the UAE business environment, regulatory context, and cultural nuances.
