Job Description

Are you a seasoned HR professional ready to shape the people agenda for an entire country operation, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.

As our new Country HR Responsible, Philippines, you'll be designing and driving country-level HR strategies, policies, and operations that ensure a unified One Grundfos culture across our Philippines organization.

As a key part of the Philippines Country HR team, you'll create impact by ensuring compliance, strengthening employee relations, and enabling a consistent, high-quality HR experience that supports our people and business growth in the Philippines.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Country Director and Country Forum to design, implement, and coordinate local HR policies and processes aligned with global Grundfos guidelines, Philippine labor law, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary cases, due process, and sensitive employment issues, coordinating with internal and external legal counsel on labor complaints and disputes
  • Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, statutory requirements, and readiness for internal and external HR audits, while maintaining oversight of legal cases and related costs
  • Oversee transactional HR services covering benefits, onboarding, offboarding, employee movements, and compliance reporting. Allocate and supervise tasks within the local HR team and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Rewards, HRBPs, and other HR teams
  • Deploy global HR initiatives related to employee wellbeing, employer branding, and culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, acting as the country go-to person for Group programs
  • Drive continuous improvement of local HR processes and serve as an ambassador for the global HR delivery model while balancing local business needs

Above all, you're a confident, hands-on HR generalist with deep expertise in Philippine labor law, a track record of building compliant HR frameworks, and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization while staying close to operational detail. We'd also expect that you are/have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Legal Management, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience with substantial responsibility for HR operations, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, and payroll coordination
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor and employment law, statutory requirements, due process, and current local HR practices
  • Experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization supported by shared-service teams and Centers of Excellence

It's a plus if you also have:

  • A relevant master's degree in HR, business, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience developing and improving country-level HR policies, processes, and controls
  • Hands-on experience with HR information systems, employee data reporting, and workflow tools

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, retirement benefit, and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.
