Role Description This is a full-time Country Manager role based in Madrid with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with partial work from home. The Country Manager will lead LGIM Robotics’ operations in the country, including market development, sales leadership, and strategic partnerships in intelligent manufacturing, robotics, and industrial software. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the local go-to-market strategy, managing key customer accounts, overseeing project delivery quality, and ensuring alignment with global business objectives. The role involves building and mentoring a local team, coordinating with headquarters on product roadmaps and technical support, and monitoring market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities. The Country Manager will also be accountable for budget ownership, performance reporting, and compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and guiding multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven commercial and business development skills, including sales management, key account management, and partnership development in B2B industrial or technology sectors.
- Solid knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, logistics solutions, or intelligent manufacturing systems, with the ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
- Strategic planning, market analysis, and financial management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Chinese is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate across cultures and time zones, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
- Previous experience as a country manager, regional manager, or senior commercial leader in automation.
