About Erinion
Erinion designs, builds and operates depot and destination charging solutions for heavy-duty vehicles. As part of the Scania Group, we combine the strength of a global transport leader with the agility of a fast-growing company. Our approach focuses on energy efficiency and optimal utilisation, ensuring that electrification is not only sustainable but also financially and commercially viable for our customers. We support different ways of financing, owning and operating charging sites, so that each customer can find the model that best fits their business. With operations across ten European markets and global expansion underway, we enable transport operators to electrify their fleets with confidence and long-term profitability.
Your Role
The Country Manager leads Erinion's business and the pre-sales and sales team in Sweden, reports to the Chief Business Officer and is part of Erinion's Extended Leadership Team.
The role holds full end-to-end responsibility for market results, including commercial performance, customer outcomes, organisational development and external representation. The Country Manager has authority over local commercial prioritisation, customer selection, partner engagement and hiring decisions, within global strategy, investment thresholds and governance frameworks.
In the current phase of the business, the Country Manager maintains close involvement in customer engagement and sales execution to ensure commercial excellence and pace. This hands-on involvement reflects leadership approach and market needs, not a limitation of role scope, and will evolve naturally as the organisation scales.
Your Responsibilities
Market leadership & strategy
Own and continuously refine the market development plan, including customer prioritisation, pipeline strategy and phased growth.
Define and execute the local go-to-market approach, aligned with global strategy while tailored to market dynamics.
Erinion's senior representative in Sweden, engaging with key customers, OEMs, strategic partners, government bodies, industry forums and media.
Build close collaboration with key stakeholders in the local Scania business unit.
Commercial accountability
Own revenue targets, operating budget and cost prioritisation, and be accountable for delivering market performance within centrally defined pricing and margin frameworks.
Ensure alignment between commercial commitments and delivery capabilities, in close collaboration with the deployment team.
Lead prioritisation across pre-sales and sales activities to maximise market impact.
Take ultimate ownership of the customer relationship and account outcomes.
Operational execution
Maintain active involvement in strategic sales engagements and customer relationships where required to deliver results.
Scaling sales together with Scania: Lead the market’s implementation of a new sales model that integrates Erinion’s systems and charging offers with Scania’s truck sales to make charging a natural part of every electric truck deal.
Step directly into commercial activity when needed to unblock progress, support the team or secure outcomes.
Drive a culture of accountability, pace and execution across the market.
People & organisation
Lead and develop the pre-sales and sales team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and capability development.
Build and scale a diverse team in line with market growth, with the capability to compete effectively with leading market players.
Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
Market intelligence, insight and financial ownership
Analyse customer needs, market trends, regulatory developments and competitor activity to inform strategy and product direction.
Provide structured market insight and forecasting to company leadership.
Own market budgets, spend prioritisation and commercial decision-making.
Be accountable for efficient use of resources to drive sustainable growth.
Cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with marketing, product management and operations teams to ensure Erinion's place as a one-stop option for full depot electrification needs.
Maintain relations with market-leading hardware manufacturers, contractors and trusted partners, ensuring Erinion's offering remains customer focused.
Support localisation of materials and initiatives aligned with global frameworks.
Lead the partnership with the local Scania dealer network. Collaborate with MDs and sales teams, and offer support and education in electrification.
Who We Are Looking For

You are comfortable leading both people and business, turning market potential into profitable growth, and setting the course for how Erinion develops in the market.
You likely bring:
Commercial Experience: Proven track record in a sales, business development or market-facing leadership role with revenue responsibility. Experience from charging and/or energy markets is considered an advantage.
Market Ownership: Deep understanding of market dynamics, with a record of growing local commercial performance.
Ownership & Adaptability: Works independently and stays effective where structure is still being built.
Execution & Delivery: Ability to translate strategy into structured sales and commercial execution.
Stakeholder Management: Strong relationship-builder across customers, partners and internal teams.
People Leadership: Ability to recruit, lead and grow a strong local team, and manage performance and development.
