Title: CPT-11545 Marketing & Business Development Virtual Assistant
Independent Contractor – CPT-11545 Marketing & Business Development Virtual Assistant/Marketing VA/Junior-Advanced Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
An established Relationship and Emotional Leadership Coach is seeking a proactive Marketing VA to support community engagement, content marketing, relationship-based business development, partnership outreach, events, and ongoing marketing execution.
At the initial 10-hour-per-week level, the role is primarily focused on Facebook community research and engagement, creative/Canva support, blog and newsletter publishing, and a smaller portion of business development and partnership outreach. This role should not be viewed as primarily a lead-generation or business-development position.
The client provides the overall strategy and core content and is looking for someone who can turn those ideas into action while understanding the business, noticing opportunities, and taking initiative within established priorities and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is mature, intuitive, creative, highly detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable building genuine relationships online.
The role will begin at approximately 10 hours per week, with the intention to grow toward 20–30 hours and greater marketing ownership over time.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
10-HOUR/WEEK PRIORITIES
The initial 10 hours per week will be approximately allocated as follows:
- 5 hours: Facebook group/community research, posting, commenting, and engagement, ideally with some activity each day
- 2 hours: Business development, referral/partnership outreach, and identifying opportunities
- 1 hour: Canva and creative marketing support
- 1–2 hours: Blog and newsletter creation and publishing in GoHighLevel
These allocations may flex based on business priorities. For example, during an event launch, more time may shift toward creative work, community promotion, and event outreach.
Community Engagement & Marketing
- Research relevant Facebook groups and online communities where the client's content, resources, events, or services may genuinely provide value
- Post, comment, engage, and participate in relevant Facebook communities consistently, ideally with some activity each day
- Identify conversations where the client's content, resources, events, or services may genuinely help
- Support authentic relationship-building and community engagement rather than relying solely on direct lead-generation tactics
- Assist with social media execution and content promotion
- Look for additional communities, channels, and opportunities where the client's content and events could be promoted
Business Development & Partnership Outreach
- Conduct outreach and follow-up with potential leads and business opportunities
- Research and engage potential referral partners, coaches, trainers, and other aligned professionals
- Research podcasts, speaking opportunities, partnerships, and other visibility opportunities
- Identify potential referral, partnership, event, and promotional opportunities proactively
- Think beyond assigned tasks by asking: Where else could we promote this? What groups or communities could we reach? Who could we partner with? What creative ideas could we try?
- Track leads, partnerships, conversations, and follow-up activity
Content & Creative Marketing Support
- Create graphics, posters, banners, lead magnets, and promotional materials using Canva
- Strong Canva/design skills are important and will be used for social graphics, posters, banners, event materials, lead magnets, and basic video animations/effects
- Support promotion of coaching programs, workshops, retreats, and events
- Provide examples of previous Canva/design work when available
- Upload and publish blogs and newsletters
- Research YouTube topics, titles, keywords, and content opportunities
- Assist with content repurposing and social media execution
- Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across marketing channels
- Support event-related creative materials, community promotion, and outreach as needed
Marketing Operations & GoHighLevel
- Maintain basic marketing activity within GoHighLevel, including contacts, pipelines, content, and existing workflows
- Assist with lead and pipeline follow-up
- Make minor updates and troubleshoot basic issues within established systems
- Support additional marketing projects as the role and hours expand
- Initially, advanced GoHighLevel work will remain with the client's existing GHL specialist, who is handling sales funnels, courses, and other advanced builds
- As the role grows toward 20–30 hours per week, the VA is expected to gradually take on more GoHighLevel marketing support, including website updates, blogs/newsletters, landing pages and forms, lead follow-up, nurture campaigns, course setup/management, and general marketing administration
A separate GoHighLevel specialist currently handles major builds and advanced automations.
Events & Opportunity Spotting
- Support promotion and marketing for coaching programs, workshops, retreats, and events
- Proactively identify additional groups, communities, partners, channels, and creative ways to promote upcoming events
- Look beyond assigned tasks and bring forward ideas that could increase visibility, engagement, or participation
- During event launches or other priority campaigns, shift time and focus toward community promotion, creative marketing, and event outreach as needed
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
