Title: CPT-11733 Outbound Lead Generation & Appointment Setter / Move Coordinator

Independent Contractor – CPT-11733 Outbound Lead Generation & Appointment Setter / Move Coordinator/Business Support VA/Junior-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

An established local and long-distance moving company is seeking one dedicated part-time VA for a new outbound lead-generation pilot.

The VA will contact homeowners from approved prospect lists who may have an upcoming move. The goal is to identify genuine moving opportunities and connect interested prospects with the company’s sales team.

This is not a closing or estimating position. The VA’s responsibility is to create interest, qualify the opportunity, and facilitate the next step.

The ideal candidate has genuine cold-calling experience, is comfortable with frequent rejection, sounds natural and trustworthy with U.S. consumers, and can confidently handle routine objections without becoming pushy.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Outbound Calling & Qualification

  • Call homeowner prospects using the company’s approved lead lists and scripts
  • Prioritize the newest qualified listings first, then scheduled callbacks and follow-ups, then older backlog as time allows
  • Determine whether the homeowner is actually planning a move
  • Gather basic information: approximate move timeframe, local or long-distance move, destination if known, approximate home or move size, and whether they have already selected a mover
  • Handle routine questions and objections naturally
  • Respect clear declines and Do Not Call requests immediately

Lead Handoff & Appointment Setting

  • Offer a warm transfer to the company’s salesperson when a qualified prospect is available
  • Complete the internal lead form before the warm transfer so the salesperson has the customer’s information immediately
  • If a live transfer is unavailable, schedule or request a virtual or on-site moving estimate
  • Submit qualified leads through the approved lead form or website workflow
  • Do not enter unqualified cold prospects into the company’s sales system

Follow-Up & Tracking

  • Record call attempts, outcomes, talk time, callbacks, qualified leads, appointments, and relevant notes in the approved tracking system
  • Send approved follow-up emails using provided templates when appropriate
  • Maintain an organized follow-up list
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, customer responses, common objections, and effective calling times
  • Incorporate coaching and script adjustments as the pilot develops

Pilot Performance Measurement

Because this is a new program, initial performance will be used to establish realistic benchmarks. The pilot will initially track:

  • Number of dials, total talk time, and right-party contacts
  • Confirmed movers, qualified leads, and warm transfers
  • Appointments scheduled and appointment show rate
  • Estimates generated, booked jobs, and revenue attributable to the program

Raw dial volume alone will not determine performance. Higher talk time may naturally result in fewer total dials when meaningful customer conversations occur.

This Role Does Not Include

  • Quoting moving rates
  • Estimating move hours or volume
  • Negotiating pricing
  • Closing sales
  • Collecting deposits
  • Performing full moving inventories
  • Promising availability or arrival times
  • Accessing the company’s full SmartMoving CRM
  • Hard-selling customers who clearly decline

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Outbound cold calling, lead generation, or appointment-setting experience required
  • Strong objection-handling skills required
  • Excellent spoken English and professional phone communication required
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, email, and online lead forms required
  • Experience calling U.S. consumers strongly preferred
  • Experience with logistics, moving, home services, real estate, or similar industries preferred
  • RingCentral experience preferred
  • Spanish is a plus but not required

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven true cold-calling experience
  • Comfortable hearing "no" repeatedly without becoming discouraged
  • Confident, warm, and conversational
  • Able to ask questions rather than simply read a script
  • Persuasive without being aggressive
  • Knows when to use a reasonable rebuttal and when to respectfully end the call
  • Comfortable speaking with skeptical or cautious homeowners
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Organized with callbacks and follow-up
  • Coachable and receptive to performance feedback
  • Able to adjust calling approach and schedule based on results

APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE / REQUIRED

  • RingCentral – Outbound Calling and Warm Transfers
  • Google Workspace – Email and Shared Files
  • Google Sheets / Approved Tracker – Prospect Activity and Results
  • Company Lead Form / Website Form – Submission of Qualified Leads to the Sales Team
  • No SmartMoving Access Required for This Position

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 10-15 Hours (Pilot; Potential to Expand Based on Results)
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
  • Daily Working Time: Approximately 2–3 Hours/Day; Initial Calling Window: About 8:00 AM–11:00 AM PT (Other Daytime Windows May Be Tested)

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
