About the Role

rthmc is the venture studio within Birg Holdings. We build, validate, and scale businesses across different industries, taking ideas from early concepts to real products and brands. We’re a lean, fast-moving team working across multiple ventures, each with its own audience, identity, and creative challenges.

We’re looking for a Creative Brand Designer who can take an idea, develop a compelling visual direction, and bring it to life independently. This isn’t a role for someone who waits for a detailed brief and executes it. We want strong creative instincts, exceptional visual taste, and the confidence to propose ideas, challenge assumptions, and own the creative process from concept through delivery.

AI is an integral part of how we work. We expect you to use it intelligently to explore, experiment, and produce better creative work, without sacrificing originality or craftsmanship.

What You’ll Own
How your time splits: roughly 50% brand identity and creative direction for new ventures, 30% content production (social, motion, and campaign assets), and 20% websites and landing pages. When these compete, new venture identities come first.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction

  • Develop visual identities for new ventures, from initial concepts to complete brand systems.
  • Translate business ideas, positioning, and target audiences into distinctive creative directions.
  • Design logos, typography systems, colour palettes, visual languages, and brand guidelines.
  • Build practical brand kits and reusable templates that keep ventures consistent as they grow.
  • Evolve existing identities so each venture has its own recognisable personality.
  • Present creative concepts with clear reasoning behind your design choices.

Websites & Landing Pages

  • Develop visual identities for new ventures, from initial concepts to complete brand systems.
  • Design websites and landing pages for new ventures that carry their brand identity online.
  • Build and launch pages in no-code tools such as Framer or Webflow.
  • Create launch, campaign, and hiring pages quickly as ventures need them.
  • Keep live sites current, consistent, and on-brand as ventures evolve.

Digital & Social Creative

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and other relevant channels.
  • Design social posts, carousels, campaign visuals, and digital marketing assets.
  • Create launch materials, announcements, and promotional content.
  • Translate complex products, services, and ideas into clear, compelling visuals.
  • Build reusable creative systems that support consistent content production.

Motion & Visual Storytelling

  • Produce short-form motion graphics, animated social assets, and brand animations.
  • Create simple product explainers, launch teasers, and animated visual concepts.
  • Bring static brand identities to life through thoughtful motion.
  • Adapt creative assets for different platforms and formats.

AI-Assisted Creative Production

  • Use AI image, video, and design tools as part of your everyday creative workflow.
  • Experiment with emerging creative technologies and identify practical applications.
  • Combine AI-generated assets with original design work to produce polished, cohesive visuals.
  • Develop repeatable workflows that improve speed, consistency, and creative output.
  • Keep full control over quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.

Creative Ownership & Collaboration

  • Work day to day with venture leads and EIRs to understand objectives and translate them into creative solutions.
  • Propose creative directions proactively rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver against agreed timelines.
  • Share early concepts, incorporate feedback, and refine work efficiently.
  • Maintain organised, editable design files, templates, and brand assets.

Success in Your First 120 Days

  • Visual identities developed and implemented for agreed priority ventures.
  • Consistent, reusable brand and social design systems in place.
  • High-quality creative assets delivered across active projects.
  • Practical AI-assisted workflows introduced that improve creative production.
  • An organised, accessible library of editable creative assets.
  • Established as a trusted creative partner who takes an idea from brief to finished execution independently.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual taste and original creative thinking.
  • Proven experience developing brand identities from concept to execution.
  • Strong typography, composition, colour, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience creating high-quality social and digital marketing assets.
  • Practical motion graphics and animation capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience using AI creative tools in professional design workflows.
  • Proficiency in relevant design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver without constant supervision.
  • Clear communication and the ability to explain creative decisions.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with startups, technology companies, or venture studios.
  • Visuals for B2B SaaS or digital products.
  • Experience designing and launching websites or landing pages, ideally in Framer, Webflow, or similar.
  • Generative video, 3D, or advanced motion tools.
  • Scalable multi-brand design systems.

What Great Looks Like

- You can take a rough business idea and turn it into a convincing visual identity.

- Your portfolio shows taste, originality, and versatility, not just technical proficiency.

- You understand the difference between a beautiful design and an effective one.

- You can develop a creative direction, defend your thinking, and execute it yourself.

- You use AI to elevate your work, not replace your creative judgment.

- You know how to make different brands feel genuinely different.

- You switch comfortably between strategic creative thinking and hands-on production.

- You take ownership, communicate proactively, and deliver without needing to be chased.

  • Creative ownership: Shape brands from the very beginning, not just maintain existing ones.
  • Variety: Work across multiple industries, products, and audiences.
  • AI-forward environment: Experiment with emerging creative technologies and put them to practical use.
  • Direct impact: Your work shapes how new businesses are introduced, understood, and experienced.
  • Remote flexibility: Work remotely with a defined collaboration window and ownership over your delivery.
