As Director, Creative Operations, you’ll lead the systems, processes, resource planning, and governance that enable high-quality creative delivery across Humana’s in-house agency. In a typical day, you may partner with creative, account, marketing, MarTech, compliance, and analytics teams to remove workflow friction, improve intake and prioritization, strengthen risk controls, and help teams use data and tools more effectively. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who can connect operational discipline with creative excellence in support of better member, patient, and business outcomes. The Director, Creative Operations leads the operational engine for Humana’s Creative and Content organization. This role establishes scalable workflows, governance practices, resource planning routines, and performance reporting that help teams deliver compliant, on-brand creative work with greater speed and consistency. The Director partners closely with creative leadership, account teams, business partners, MarTech , Consumer Data Insights Analytics (CDIA) , procurement, and compliance stakeholders to improve how work moves from intake through delivery. This work supports Humana by helping teams create clearer, more effective communications and experiences for members, patients, caregivers, and communities. Key Role Functions Lead creative operations strategy, including intake, prioritization, resourcing, workflow design, production governance, and delivery standards across the in-house agency Establish and improve operating processes that increase quality, speed, transparency, and accountability across creative and content development Partner with MarTech , CDIA, compliance, and business teams to strengthen tools, reporting, approvals, risk controls, and data-informed decision making Oversee resource planning, capacity management, vendor coordination, and budget-related operational inputs to ensure work is staffed and delivered effectively Partner with procurement to maintain vendor contract renewals, support timely approvals, and ensure vendor agreements align with operational needs and budget expectations Partner with Finance to track team budget performance month-over-month, surface variances, and support timely budget planning and forecasting decisions Oversee quality assurance practices for the team, ensuring creative and content deliverables meet brand, compliance, accessibility, and operational standards before delivery Define operational metrics and routines that help leaders identify bottlenecks, improve performance, and scale creative support for Humana’s strategic priorities Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing , Communications, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 8+ years of experience in creative operations, marketing operations, agency operations, production operations, or related operational leadership roles 3+ years of experience leading teams, managing managers, or directing cross-functional operational programs Demonstrated experience building or improving intake, workflow, resource management, prioritization, reporting, or governance processes in a matrixed organization Experience partnering with creative, marketing, technology, analytics, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver operational improvements Preferred Qualifications Experience leading creative operations within an in-house agency, marketing organization, healthcare company, insurance company, or regulated industry Experience with workflow, project management, digital asset management, content management, or approval platforms such as Workfront, Aprimo , Monday.com, AEM, or similar tools Experience developing operating models, service-level expectations, capacity planning routines, or performance dashboards for creative or content teams Experience managing vendor relationships, production partners, contractor support, or agency partners Familiarity with Agile ways of working, change management, process improvement, or operational transformation initiatives Location & Work Arrangement Preferred locations: Arlington, VA; Louisville, KY; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; Fort Lauderdale, FL Periodic in-office work may be required to support collaboration, key meetings, and leadership engagement. Remote options will be considered based on role needs and candidate experience Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $168,000 - $231,000 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
