The Creative Strategist is a remote role responsible for bridging the gap between performance marketing data, consumer psychology, and scalable content execution for TMG Global and its clients. Operating at the intersection of AI, analytics, and storytelling, this role focuses on uncovering target audience insights, developing high-converting ad concepts, and guiding the creative production process.

The Creative Strategist translates raw data into actionable messaging frameworks, crafting creative briefs that drive real business results across paid and organic digital channels.

Responsibilities:

• Data-Driven Ideation: Analyze performance metrics (e.g., hook retention, CTR, ROAS, CPA) to identify top-performing ad angles, creative fatigue, and optimization opportunities.
• Creative Briefing & Strategy: Write comprehensive, actionable creative briefs and storyboards for copywriters, motion designers, and video editors.
• AI-Enhanced Research: Leverage AI-first workflows and tools to conduct deep audience research, competitor benchmarking, social listening, and rapid script development.
• A/B Testing Frameworks: Develop and execute creative testing hypotheses across paid platforms (testing hooks, visual triggers, calls-to-action, and messaging angles).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with performance marketers, media buyers, and production teams to ensure creative aligns with client growth goals and budget allocations.
• Reporting & Optimization: Deliver regular data-informed reports and strategic recommendations to improve creative efficiency across campaigns.
• Trend & Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platform algorithm changes, emerging AI creative tools, and direct-response best practices.
  

Requirements:

• Strategic Marketing Expertise: Solid understanding of performance marketing, direct-response principles, consumer psychology, and brand positioning.
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Proven ability to read and interpret paid media analytics (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Google/LinkedIn Analytics) to derive creative insights.
• AI Proficiency: Comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, image generation tools) for research, concepting, scriptwriting, and workflow optimization.
• Creative Planning & Scripting: Demonstrated experience writing detailed ad scripts, visual storyboards, and messaging frameworks for short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and static ads.
• Media Planning Awareness: Familiarity with digital media planning, budget efficiency, and campaign structure across paid social channels.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong narrative and copywriting skills to communicate concepts clearly to both creative teams and technical stakeholders.
• Remote Independence: High level of self-motivation, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a remote environment.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a Creative Strategist, Performance Creative, or Content Strategy role within an agency or growth-stage brand.
• Demonstrated portfolio or case studies showing direct involvement in creative concepts that drove measurable campaign performance/ROAS.
• Experience collaborating with video editors, graphic designers, and media buyers in a fast-paced environment.
