- Department: Credentialing Verifications Operations
- Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Monday-Friday
How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Ensures health care professionals and services meet all established federal and state standards, as well as National Committee for Quality Assurance standards. Verifies the professional licensing, training and certifications of professional medical staff. Prepares and maintains reports of credentialing activities such as accreditation, membership or facility privileges.
- Coordinates medical staff appointments. Processes applications and various licensing and certification. Responsible for preparing, organizing, implementing and managing the provider credentialing process. Coordinates communication of information between staff departments and administration.
- Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and legal requirements related to the medical staff.
- Contacts medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

- None Required.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Preferred Experience
2+ years of credentialing experience
MD Staff strongly preferred
