Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and monitors the review and analysis of practitioner applications and accompanying documents, ensuring applicant eligibility.
- Conducts thorough investigation, research, and timely primary source verification of all components of the application file.
- Identifies issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validates discrepancies, and ensures appropriate follow-up.
- Reviews necessary documentation and verifications prior to submittal to clients, ensuring turnaround time, productivity, quality of data and communication and collaboration are within required KPI expectations.
- Responds to inquiries from other healthcare organizations, and interfaces with internal/ external customers on day-to-day credentialing/privileging issues as they arise.
- Utilizes and maintains the credentialing database, optimizes efficiency, and performs queries, reports, and document generation.
- Meets weekly performance metrics which include file completion, quality, and turnaround time.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all data and information.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to apply critical and strategic thinking in solving issues/concerns.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Christus credentialing process and CS Partners and SCP Health clinician scheduling process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, Outlook)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, equivalent field, or equivalent work experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in hospital or managed care clinician credentialing.
- Prior experience with the Christus credentialing process and CS Partners clinician scheduling process, preferred.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.

Pay Range:
42,944.00 - 59,580.00 USD annuallyThis range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
