About Allia

Allia Health is building the technology and clinical infrastructure for the next generation of behavioral healthcare.
Our platform supports thousands of behavioral health clinicians with EHR, practice management, billing, prescribing, and care coordination. Alongside our technology, Allia operates a national physician-led clinician network that brings independent practices together around shared clinical standards, technology, data, and payer relationships.
We are building the infrastructure that allows independent behavioral health practices to operate and contract with health plans at scale.

Join the Allia team

We’re hiring a Credentialing Manager to own credentialing and recredentialing across Allia’s national clinician network and help manage the payer relationships that sit around it.

Your primary responsibility will be building and operating a high-quality credentialing function: provider files, primary-source verification, Credentialing Committee operations, recredentialing, monitoring, payer audits, and delegated credentialing.
You’ll also work closely with our payer team on contracting and implementation, particularly where credentialing, delegation, provider enrollment, rosters, and network participation intersect.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both the details of provider credentialing and how health plans actually operate.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own end-to-end credentialing and recredentialing across Allia’s national clinician network, including provider applications, primary-source verification, CAQH, expirables, sanctions, exclusions, and audit-ready files.
  • Run the Credentialing Committee process, including preparing files, identifying exceptions, coordinating meetings, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Own delegated credentialing operations, including payer requirements, delegation agreements, audits, remediation, and ongoing compliance.
  • Partner with payer contracting on credentialing, provider participation, enrollment, roster management, and implementation of new payer agreements.
  • Maintain clear policies, workflows, reporting, and SLAs so leadership can see credentialing status, risks, turnaround times, and provider participation across payers.
  • Continuously improve and automate credentialing workflows in partnership with Product, Engineering, Clinical, Compliance, and Operations.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of provider credentialing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CAQH, primary-source verification, and NCQA standards.
  • Direct experience with delegated credentialing and payer audits.
  • Experience working with commercial health plans and provider enrollment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workflows.

Why you should join Allia

  • Own something important. Credentialing is core infrastructure for Allia’s clinical network and payer strategy.
  • Build, don’t just administer. You’ll help design the policies, workflows, systems, and technology rather than inherit a mature bureaucracy.
  • Work directly with payers. You’ll have meaningful exposure to national and regional health plans, including delegated credentialing relationships.
  • Work at national scale. Help build the infrastructure supporting a rapidly growing behavioral health network.
  • Use technology to eliminate administrative work. You’ll work with Product and Engineering to automate work that is still manual across much of healthcare.
  • Work closely with leadership. This role sits across clinical operations, payer strategy, compliance, and product.
  • Remote-first. Work from anywhere in the United States.
