About Salmon

Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc., the banking arm of Salmon Group Ltd., is a technology-driven challenger bank in the Philippines operating under a BSP license. We combine the trust of a licensed institution with the speed and convenience of a modern financial product. Work within regulated financial infrastructure, where product, risk, compliance, operations, technology, and customer experience are closely connected.

About the Role
The Manager, Credit Administration sits at the operational core of the Bank’s credit function. You’ll be responsible for making sure every loan, from origination through closure, is properly documented, accurately recorded, and compliantly managed.

This role owns the end-to-end integrity of the credit administration process. That means establishing and enforcing documentation standards before disbursement, ensuring accurate booking and reconciliation within the Bank’s systems, and maintaining the security and completeness of all credit and collateral records. It also means staying ahead of what happens after a loan is booked: monitoring compliance with approved credit conditions, managing exceptions, and seeing loans through to proper settlement and closure.

Beyond day-to-day operations, the Manager plays a meaningful oversight role: supporting regulatory reporting and supervisory examinations, maintaining complete and auditable credit data, and upholding the control standards that protect the Bank’s portfolio quality and operational integrity.

This is a role for someone who takes ownership seriously, is comfortable operating in a highly regulated environment, and understands that strong credit administration is not just a back-office function. It is a critical line of defense in prudent risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Documentation: establish procedures, including a documentation system, to ensure completeness of documentation in accordance with policy.

  • Disbursement: ensure all necessary approvals are secured and all required documentation is completed prior to disbursement.

  • Loan Booking and Record Integrity: ensure accurate booking, classification, recording, and reconciliation of credit facilities within the Bank’s systems and records.

  • Credit and Collateral Custodianship (legacy loans): maintain the integrity, completeness, security, and accessibility of all credit and collateral documentation, including original security instruments and supporting records.

  • Post-Booking Monitoring and Exception Management: monitor compliance with approved credit conditions, covenants, collateral requirements, and other post-disbursement obligations, and escalate exceptions as required.

  • Loan Settlement and Closure: administer loan settlement, collateral release, and maintenance of closed loan records in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.

  • Regulatory Reporting and Examination Support: support regulatory reporting, portfolio monitoring, and supervisory examinations through the maintenance of complete and accurate credit data, records, and registers.

  • Control and Compliance Oversight: maintain independent oversight of credit administration controls, documentation standards, exception management processes, and regulatory compliance requirements to support portfolio quality, operational integrity, and prudent risk management.
