Job Description

Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Credit Analyst to join our ever-evolving Credit Risk Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in protecting and enabling business growth by making informed credit decisions that balance opportunity with risk. You’ll influence outcomes across clients, partners and internal stakeholders by assessing complex financial and risk data, structuring solutions that support sustainable growth, and helping ensure Global Payments continues to deliver trusted payment experiences around the world. As a key contributor to our risk management strategy, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen portfolio performance, shape credit decisions, support policy development and grow your expertise in a fast-moving, global organization committed to innovation and long-term success.

What you'll own

  • Drive informed credit decisions that enable profitable business growth while ensuring risks are identified, assessed and managed in line with established credit strategies and policies.
  • Strengthen portfolio performance by evaluating risk exposure, recommending mitigation strategies and helping maintain a high-quality portfolio that supports long-term client and business success.
  • Influence commercial outcomes by structuring credit solutions, negotiating approval terms and clearly communicating decisions to sales partners, relationship managers and clients.
  • Enhance risk management practices by providing insights that support policy adherence, improve decision-making frameworks and contribute to continuous improvement across the credit function.
  • Deliver trusted recommendations to leadership through thorough analysis and executive-level credit assessments that support timely approvals, strategic decisions and effective risk governance.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business or a related field with a strong foundation in analytical and financial decision-making.
  • Proven experience analyzing financial statements, credit data and risk indicators to make sound credit recommendations and business decisions.
  • Demonstrated success balancing risk management with commercial objectives while delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain complex credit decisions, negotiate approval terms and build credibility with stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently on diverse challenges and identify practical solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

It's a bonus if you have

  • Experience conducting due diligence reviews for portfolio acquisitions, conversions or large-scale client onboarding initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching or providing guidance to less experienced analysts.
  • A track record of contributing to policy enhancements, process improvements or risk management initiatives that drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
