- Review customer orders against credit guidelines, available credit, account status, payment history, and current exposure; release, hold, or escalate orders within established authority.
- Maintain complete and accurate credit files, customer credit and billing information, Accounts Payable contacts, and supporting account records.
- Coordinate with Customer Master Data and internal partners to support accurate ship-to, billing, invoice, and account relationships.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc credit and collection reporting; communicate significant payment trends, collection barriers, and elevated risk to the Credit Manager.
- Monitor industry and third-party credit information, maintain credit and collection procedures, and support continuous improvement in controls, efficiency, risk management, and Days Sales Outstanding.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Make a visible impact by balancing smart risk decisions with the needs of the business and its customers.
- Own a varied portfolio and use analysis, judgment, and relationship-building to move work forward.
- Collaborate across credit, customer service, master data, cash application, and other internal teams to solve account issues.
