Criminal Record Processing Agent

Summary/Objective
The Criminal Record Processing Agent follows internal procedures to process pre-employment background check orders according to client specifications. This includes accurately reading Identity Development results, reviewing aggregate database criminal searches, determining and adding appropriate county criminal searches to an order, and following client-specific setup notes throughout the process. A successful Criminal Record Processing Agent completes assigned work quickly and accurately to support timely, compliant reporting for our clients.
Core Job Duties
- Follow internal procedures to aggregate criminal, personal, and identifiable information about job applicants to complete background checks.
- Process reports in the Tazworks system by dispatching county criminal and civil searches to field researchers, filtering relevant searches through address history information, and filtering criminal record information from database searches.
- Perform all daily duty tasks assigned by the Processing Supervisor.
- Work with Client Services to fulfill processing needs for clients on specific reports and provide information to assist with client inquiries.
- Follow client preferences to ensure reports are processed quickly and accurately.
- Within 60 days from start of employment, the Processor needs to be averaging 9+ RPH (Reports Per Hour).
- After 60 days, the Processor maintains a monthly RPH (Reports Per Hour) average of 12 or more.
- Maintain a mistake ratio of less than 1% of total processed reports.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extreme attention to detail; this position requires prolonged screen time and the ability to identify small details with strong visual and mental acuity.
- Adherence to company and departmental policies.
- Confidence in decision-making and the ability to explain processes or choices.
- Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a data-driven position (data entry, loan processing, accounting, or similar) preferred.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
Work Authorization
Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
