Cryptocurrency Trader — ETM CORE
Remote · Full-time · $200,000–$300,000 USD
About ETM CORE
ETM CORE is a digital-asset trading firm built around disciplined risk, deep liquidity, and continuous market coverage. We run a classic crypto trading desk across spot, perpetual futures, and OTC — turning volatility into structured opportunity for the firm’s book. We are hiring an experienced Cryptocurrency Trader to take capital, manage positions end-to-end, and contribute to how the desk trades every session.
Responsibilities
- Trade cryptocurrency markets across spot, perpetual futures, and OTC as market conditions and desk mandate require
- Build and manage directional, relative-value, and basis positions with clear thesis, sizing, and exit criteria
- Monitor liquidity, funding, open interest, and cross-venue dislocations; act quickly when edges appear
- Source and execute OTC block flow where it improves price, size, or inventory outcomes
- Enforce risk limits: stop discipline, exposure caps, and scenario awareness in fast markets
- Maintain clean trade logs, PnL attribution, and session notes for desk review
- Collaborate with risk and operations on settlement, collateral, and venue onboarding issues
- Share market color and post-trade analysis that improves the next session’s playbook
Requirements
- Proven track record trading crypto markets (spot and/or perps) with measurable PnL ownership
- Strong grasp of order types, leverage, funding, liquidations, and venue microstructure
- Experience managing live risk in high-volatility conditions without blowing limits
- Fluency reading depth, tape, and derivatives signals alongside fundamental catalysts
- Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time trading schedule with clear communication
- Professional written and spoken English for desk coordination and trade documentation
Nice-to-haves
- Prior OTC / RFQ / block trading experience with institutions or high-net-worth counterparties
- Familiarity with major CEXs and leading perp venues; multi-account / multi-venue workflow
- Background in market making, arb, or basis trading
- Comfort with trading APIs, spreadsheets, and lightweight scripting for monitoring and reconciliation
- Experience contributing to desk playbooks, risk frameworks, or junior trader mentoring
