CTO / Co-Founder Software Engineer

We're looking for someone who's curious about learning, building, and living the startup dream. An ideal candidate can balance being a successful founder while also growing into a leader. The position can be done remotely and is full-time (starting now).

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop our initial MVP
• Build, build, build: especially in the early days, you'll be rolling up your sleeves
• Contribute to the development of a product roadmap and participate in feature discussions
• Providing feedback on technical challenges associated with new features and communicating progress on code with the design team
• Collaborate with the founding team to define and execute the company's technical vision and roadmap
• Create overall technology standards and practices
• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
• Lead the development of hardware and software products, including conducting market research, and overseeing production and testing
• Act as a technical advisor and thought leader, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

• Previous working experience as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer), or next in charge, in a startup preferred
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role
• Experience developing mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• iOS work experience
• Strong SwiftUI experience
• Experience with Javascript, Cordova, Kotlin, and Angular.
• Experience in integration with RESTful APIs.
• Objective-C, or C++ programming with developing high-quality production software.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages
• Familiarity with databases
• Clear and concise communication
• Willingness to take a risk on an early stage startup, potentially for a huge reward
• No ego and kind demeanor is a must
• Spanish a plus
