Curriculum Architect — AI & Technology Education

A newly established, privately owned education venture is building a national-scale AI and technology

learning programme for schools in Qatar, aligned with the country's long-term national development

goals. We are appointing the curriculum authority for that programme.

This is a founding seat with unusual scope. You will own what students learn and in what order,

decide where we licence world-class material and where we author our own, and carry the curriculum

through a government approval process to the point where it is taught in real classrooms. You will

report to the founder and work alongside a counterpart architect responsible for the parallel language

form of the same programme.

What you will own

• The integrated curriculum — a single coherent programme rather than a set of assembled parts.

• Source decisions: what we licence from established providers, and what we write ourselves.

• Progression and coherence across the phases of schooling in scope.

• Alignment to recognised international standards, demonstrated to an auditable level.

• The curriculum submission to the education authority, and the review cycles that follow it.

• The authoring standard, and direction of the writers and specialists who work to it.

What you will bring

• Ten or more years in school curriculum design, with at least five in computing, computer science or

AI education as taught subject matter.

• A curriculum you authored or led that was adopted by a national, state or multi-district system — and

survived its approval process.

• Demonstrable work mapping curriculum against published competency standards.

• Design of upper-secondary pathways that progress towards a recognised qualification or

certification.

• Experience deciding between licensed and originally authored material, with real consequences

attached.

• A master's degree or higher in curriculum, computer science education, learning sciences or a

related field. A doctorate is an advantage.

Who this suits

Someone who has already done this once inside a system and wants to do it again with fewer

constraints and a clearer mandate. You are rigorous about evidence, unbothered by a demanding

timetable, and willing to hold a pedagogical line when it is inconvenient. You want a founding role

rather than a bigger version of the one you have.

Terms

Full-time; remote work possible. Competitive package. The appointment is subject to completion of

company formation, and all appointees sign confidentiality and intellectual-property assignment
