Job Description

Our client is hiring a Client Account Specialist. This role monitors the operational and financial status of client businesses. You will help manage the day-to-day flow of communication, case updates, and account coordination. This role is central to maintaining smooth communication between clients, internal teams, and legal partners.

This is a client-facing, detail-intensive role. You should be highly organized, responsive, and calm under pressure. You should be comfortable working with financial, legal, and operational issues. Our client works in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.

Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of small business clients.
  • Respond promptly to client questions about account status, settlement progress, liquidity support, and other operational matters.
  • Ensure clients understand their obligations in the restructuring solution created for them.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism during sensitive financial situations.
  • Track the status of each client’s case, including lender negotiations and legal developments.
  • Monitor indicators of client financial health and operational stability.
  • Identify potential risks to the client or the firm and escalate concerns to management.
  • Escalate issues proactively with clear context and recommended actions.
  • Coordinate information flow between clients, internal staff, and external legal partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, financial updates, and case progress.
  • Assist with documentation and data tracking for settlements, payments, and liquidity support.
  • Ensure data integrity across CRM and internal systems.
  • Build professional, trust-based responsive relationships with clients during stressful financial periods.
  • Maintain a calm, organized process that increases client confidence and cooperation.
  • Help drive a consistent, organized client experience across all engagements.

Required Experience And Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in financial services.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of active client matters, accounts, or cases.
  • Experience working with sensitive financial, legal, or account-related information.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues and escalate them effectively.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Disciplined follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • C1 or C2 English level required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in small-business finance.
  • Experience in distressed or high-friction client situations.
  • Experience with settlement, payment, negotiation, or documentation workflows.
  • Familiarity with merchant cash advances or similar financial products.

Salary And Benefits
