About us
splose is the AI-powered practice management platform powering better health care. Trusted by over 25,000+ Allied Health professionals around the world, splose is purpose-built to free clinicians from admin and let them focus on what matters most - helping people. Backed by leading VC funds EVP, Spectrum Equity, and Athletic Ventures we have recently announced a record-breaking $46M Series A raise - the largest Series A of any South Australian SaaS company ever. We’re growing fast and investing in our product, our people, and our global growth.
About you
As our first Customer Implementation Engineer in London, you’ll be first-line support for customer data imports. You’ll also be the link between our Customer Success and Engineering teams. You’ll work on site with our London sales and customer team and report to our Engineering Manager in Adelaide, Australia. This is an entry-level technical role where you'll work closely with our engineering team and build deep technical knowledge of our product.
What you'll do:
Own the investigation of stuck or failed data imports. Fix the minor issues yourself and escalate complex ones with clear, reproducible documentation.
Become the first point of contact for common onboarding, import and integration questions, so Engineering can stay focused on building
Work with engineers on new source practice management systems (PMS) and changes to the ones we already support
Act as the bridge between Customer Success and Engineering, making sure customer onboarding needs and pain points are understood
Spot manual workflows, onboarding friction and recurring issues, and suggest where processes could be improved or automated
Keep an eye on customer requirements, PMS and integration changes and wider industry trends, and share what you learn with Engineering and Product
Help flag technical requirements, risks and implementation considerations early for upcoming customers
Write and maintain onboarding and data migration documentation, so knowledge is shared across the team rather than held by a few people
Write code that meets our Engineering standards, working mainly in Python and Rust
What you'll bring:
You’re in the final year of, or have recently completed, a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field
Foundational coding skills and the confidence to read, write and discuss simple code
Experience troubleshooting or investigating technical issues in a structured way
Clear documentation skills, so you can hand over a well-defined issue for someone else to pick up
Strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to turn customer or operational problems into clear technical context for engineers
You’re proactive and organised, and comfortable working on your own in a fast-paced environment
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and know when to solve something yourself and when to escalate
A strong learning mindset and openness to feedback and coaching
Willingness to work with Python and Rust
You’re able to work on site in London with our sales and customer team and work closely with product engineers based in Australia
Personal projects, side projects or other technical work outside your coursework
Interest in customer onboarding, technical implementation, data imports or integrations
A curious, observant approach and an eye for patterns and recurring issues
An interest in a long-term career in engineering or technical delivery
Next Steps:
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial screening call by our internal TA team.
