Customer Logistics Specialist
Do you enjoy turning complex logistics challenges into seamless customer delivery? Are you ready to take ownership across markets and make a visible operational impact? Bring your expertise, collaborate internationally and apply today.
About the Role
As a Customer Logistics Specialist, you will coordinate customs, warehousing, transportation, inventory and reporting activities for Turkey, South Africa and UAE. Your work will help maintain inventory accuracy, support timely deliveries and ensure operational continuity as customs and supply-chain conditions evolve.
Based in Turkey, you will work in a hybrid model, spending three days in the office and two days working from home each week. You will collaborate with colleagues across markets and functions, with limited international travel potentially required.
This is a broad, hands-on logistics position with responsibility across several operational workstreams.
What You Will Do
- Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders accurately and on time using SAP AP1 and SAP B1
- Customs Operations: Coordinate customs processes and documentation, with particular attention to Turkish customs requirements and changing operational conditions
- Warehousing and Transportation: Oversee daily warehouse activities and coordinate transportation between international distribution centers, the local warehouse and distributors
- Inventory Control: Monitor and reconcile monthly stock discrepancies, coordinate annual physical counts and support inventory audits
- Environmental and Financial Reporting: Calculate annual packaging-waste obligations and support year-end inventory valuation and inventory-cost calculations
- Operational Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular inventory and performance reports
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and external service providers to support effective operations
Who You Are
- You bring a relevant educational background or equivalent practical experience that enables you to succeed in logistics or supply-chain operations.
- You have experience in logistics operations, customs, warehouse coordination, transportation, customer logistics or a related supply-chain area. Practical knowledge of Turkish customs processes would be a strong advantage.
- You have strong working knowledge of SAP; experience with SAP AP1, SAP S/4 and/or SAP B1 is beneficial. You are also comfortable using Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- You are organized, analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities, follow through reliably and act with ownership. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- You communicate confidently in professional English and are comfortable working with colleagues across different markets and locations.
