Summary
The Customer Relations Coordinator manages an advanced collections portfolio, focusing on mitigating delinquency while cultivating collaborative, productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Collections Management: Manage proactive customer collections communications, leveraging phone and email touchpoints to secure outstanding receivables efficiently. Facilitate collaborative, monthly strategic account reviews across internal sales and store teams to maximize recovery performance on critical outstanding balances.
Dispute Resolution: Research and resolve customer disputes and escalations.
Customer Account Reconciliation: Review and reconcile customer accounts while submitting account adjustments and small balance write off requests.
Reporting: Generate aging reports and track past due metrics for internal finance, sales, and management teams.
Training Support: Support foundational training for new hires and advanced skill development for existing team members.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with key AP/AR teams as needed to accelerate the collections process.
Support internal and external audits by providing requested accounts receivable documentation.
Perform other duties and ad hoc special projects as assigned by management.
Experience
- 3+ years’ collections or accounts receivable experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with all levels of leadership.
- Thrives in demanding, fast-paced environments, consistently providing high-quality customer support and resolving complex inquiries efficiently.
- Excellent PC skills and meticulous attention to detail in data entry, documentation and reconciliations.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (vlookups, formulas, etc.).
- PeopleSoft experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong organizational, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
- Results driven; self-motivated.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Talk, Hear, and use hands to finger and handle controls and office equipment
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
