About the Position:

We are looking for a Customer Services & Production Planning Manager to join the Supply Chain and Logistic AL&S team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain and Logistic Manager.

This position is based at our office in Cd. Juarez, Mex Plant 1.

As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.

The Customer Service and Production Planning Manager is responsible for leading customer service, demand management, production planning, and inventory strategies to ensure on-time delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Lead Customer Service and Production Planning operations to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement demand management strategies to improve forecast accuracy and production alignment.
  • Manage customer escalations and coordinate recovery plans for supply risks.
  • Ensure compliance with CSR requirements.
  • Lead the SIOP/S&OP process.
  • Monitor inventory levels and prevent obsolescence.
  • Reduce premium freight and logistics costs.
  • Lead and develop the team.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • SAP proficiency.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Production Planning and Inventory Management.

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • CPIM certification preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
  • Project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis.
  • Led logistics operations and warehouse management, ensuring inventory accuracy, on-time deliveries, and continuous improvement in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Experienced in SAP, EDI systems, and customer portals, ensuring efficient material management, electronic data interchange, and compliance with customer requirements.
