The Opportunity

Customer Success Engineer (CSE) will provide dedicated subject matter expertise in delivering Day Zero automation for tactical systems using NexTech Solutions' MANTLE Platform. This role is responsible for enabling the automated deployment, configuration, validation, troubleshooting, and sustainment of Android end-user devices (EUDs), network devices, datacenter infrastructure, and supporting application dependencies required for tactical data node systems.

This is a hybrid position based in Fayetteville, NC, combining remote work with on-site support for tactical systems at operational scale. The role serves as a key technical advisor to the customer and works closely with operational users, integrators, internal engineering teams, and government stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and operation of MANTLE-enabled automation workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong Android EUD expertise with experience in infrastructure deployment, Linux, IP networking, and systems integration. The successful candidate will be comfortable diagnosing issues across the complete Android deployment path, from device provisioning and application installation to connectivity, certificates, permissions, and application behavior. Experience with Android development workflows, Gradle, Java, or Kotlin is a plus.

Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)

  • Represent NexTech Solutions in engagements with operational users, integrators, and government stakeholders.
  • Serve as a customer-facing subject matter expert for MANTLE, Day Zero automation workflows, and Android EUD deployment.

  • Configure, validate, troubleshoot, and sustain automated workflows for Android device provisioning, application deployment, configuration, and updates.
  • Diagnose issues across Android devices, applications, operating-system services, network connectivity, VPNs, certificates, permissions, and backend dependencies.
  • Use Android diagnostic and recovery tools to collect evidence, reproduce failures, isolate root causes, and support remediation.
  • Validate Android application packages, versions, signing, dependencies, managed configurations, and deployment behavior in lab and field environments.
  • Coordinate technical tasks, timelines, dependencies, escalations, and issue-resolution activities with customers, the MANTLE product team, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop deployment playbooks, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and operational best practices.
  • Capture customer feedback, communicate field findings clearly, and recommend improvements to the product and delivery process.
  • Support hands-on integration of Android EUDs with tactical hardware, networks, and supporting infrastructure in lab and field environments.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
