About StrangeBee 🐝
StrangeBee started in 2018 with a simple idea from the creators of TheHive and Cortex: give security teams open tools that actually help them respond to incidents. Today, TheHive is used by thousands of security analysts in 43 countries. We’re a team of 90 people across Paris, Barcelona, the US and we’re growing the hive. Want to contribute?
How we work
Customer Centric: we build for real security teams facing real threats.
Quest for Excellence: “good enough” isn’t our standard.
Embrace Change: cyber moves fast, and so do we. If something could be better, say it.
One Team: trust, open communication and psychological safety, across titles and teams.
We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager to own a portfolio of strategic and complex accounts and help scale our Customer Success organization. Based in Paris or Barcelona, you’ll be the trusted advisor of security teams (SOCs, CERTs, CSIRTs), working hand in hand with Sales, Support, Product and Engineering to make sure every customer gets real, lasting value from TheHive. As our customer base grows, this role is key to driving retention, expansion and the standards of our Customer Success practice.
The essentials
Location: Paris or Barcelona, hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Reports to: VP Sales / Head of Solutions
Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 base gross/year, 10% variable
What you’ll do
Own a portfolio of strategic and complex customers and act as their main point of contact
Lead functional onboarding for new customers, coordinating with our technical teams on deployment
Understand how customers use their security stack (SIEM, EDR, CTI…) and guide them on how TheHive fits into their workflows, on-prem, SaaS or IaaS
Monitor adoption and customer maturity, and run business reviews and QBRs
Anticipate risks, manage escalations and drive resolution with internal teams, without waiting to be prompted
Identify expansion opportunities together with Sales
Relay structured customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and help improve our onboarding frameworks, documentation and CS methodologies
What success looks like
First 3 months: you know TheHive, your portfolio and the internal teams, and you’ve built a relationship with each of your key accounts
By 6 months: your accounts show measurable progress in adoption, with QBRs running smoothly and no surprise churn risks
By 12 months: you contribute to strong retention and expansion on your portfolio, and you’ve helped shape a scalable CS playbook
What you bring
3–5+ years in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success Manager, Account Manager or Client Relationship Manager, ideally in SaaS or B2B software
You’ve managed complex accounts with both technical and executive stakeholders
You explain clearly, build trust quickly and translate customer needs into concrete actions internally
You take initiative, do what you say you’ll do, and put the customer’s real interest first, even when it means a harder conversation
You bring structure where it doesn’t exist yet, and stay rigorous once it does
A genuine interest in cybersecurity and a basic understanding of SOC / CSIRT / CERT operations and incident triage: enough to talk credibly with security managers and CISOs, no hands-on technical expertise needed
Fluent French and English, written and spoken, wherever you’re based
Nice to have
Experience in cybersecurity or B2B SaaS
Exposure to SIEM, EDR, CTI or SOAR ecosystems, even as a user or partner
[Spanish, useful for the Barcelona team and Iberian customers]
Don’t tick every box? Apply anyway. This list is a guide, not a checklist. We care more about how you think and learn than about a perfect match.

Hybrid work: 2 days in the office
Health insurance: coverage : tbd depending on the country
Equipment: laptop and setup provided
Team life: offsites, team events, the TheHive community
Benefiz health insurance, 100% employer-paid
