We build legal drafting technology for moments that matter - when the stakes are high, the documents are complex, and speed can't come at the cost of control.
Our platform helps legal teams move faster through contracts using automation, collaboration, and AI - without taking judgment away from the lawyers who own the risk. We believe technology should amplify expertise, not replace it.
Avvoka is trusted by leading law firms, banks, and global enterprises - including more than a quarter of the AmLaw 100 - and we've grown through product strength and word of mouth alone. With headcount and revenue increasing by over 70% year on year, we're scaling from a product-led success into a globally recognised legal-tech brand.
We're at an inflection point: legal teams are deciding how AI fits into their drafting, and many of them are making that decision in New York. Our new US office puts us right beside the clients who already trust us - and this role is one of the first seats in it.

You'll be the commercial lead for a portfolio of US clients - from AmLaw 100 firms to mid-sized firms and in-house legal teams - who already draft on Avvoka. You'll get to know how each one works, then help them bring Avvoka to new teams, offices and types of work, seeing every project through from first conversation to signed agreement.
Working alongside Legal Engineering and Customer Enablement, you'll show clients how Avvoka makes the AI tools they're adopting - Harvey, Legora, Claude and Copilot - draft from their own standard. In twelve months, you'll have hit your number, introduced new products across your portfolio, and become the person your clients call first about their drafting.

Know your clients
- Map every client in your portfolio - which teams and offices use Avvoka, what for, and where it could help next.
- Build trusted relationships with the people who shape drafting: innovation and KM leaders, practice group partners, general counsel, legal ops leads, CIOs and COOs.
- Lead new projects from first conversation to signature, navigating budget holders, procurement, InfoSec and legal.
- Build business cases that stand up to a finance team - fixed-fee and hourly economics at law firms; turnaround, outside counsel spend and capacity in-house.
- Position Avvoka alongside Harvey, Legora and Copilot, and introduce Curate, MassDraft and headless drafting where they fit.
- Scope proofs of concept with Legal Engineering, with clear success criteria agreed upfront.
- Partner with Customer Enablement on adoption and renewals, and keep an accurate, early-warning forecast for your portfolio.
- Bring what you hear from clients back to Product and Marketing, and help shape how Avvoka grows in the US.
The ideal candidate would have:
Bonus points if you have:
- 4+ years in account management or enterprise sales, with a record of growing long-term client relationships and hitting revenue targets.
- Experience selling to law firms, corporate legal teams or other professional services organisations, with committee buying and long procurement cycles.
- Comfort with numbers - you can build a simple, honest ROI model and defend every assumption in the room.
- Clear, concise writing, because much of the selling happens in emails, business cases and proposals.
- The judgment to read what a client needs, the persistence to see it through approval, and the organisation to run several complex deals at once.
- A base in or near New York, and the appetite to travel to client sites across the US.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with legal technology such as document automation, document management or knowledge management platforms.
- A legal background, or time in an innovation, KM or legal operations team at a law firm or in-house.
- A working understanding of how generative AI tools are being adopted by legal teams.
