About the role
As our Customs Manager, you'll play a key role within the Global Tax team, which is accountable for taxes across the LEGO Group. You'll join the Indirect &
Transaction Tax team and report to the Senior Tax Director based in Boston, MA. This role connects with colleagues across our digital organization and works closely with our Shipping and Import/Export Teams.
Required Qualifications
- Managed local customs licenses and customs compliance activities within a multinational environment
- Managed Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT)
- Delivered customs compliance training programs for business stakeholders
- Directed internal and external customs audits from preparation through resolution
- Executed activities within US Customs and Border Protection ACE and Customs Reconciliation programs, including reconciliation filings
Preferred Qualifications
- Used SAP solutions within tax, trade, or customs environments
- Worked with the US Foreign Trade Zone legal and administrative framework
- Managed transfer pricing adjustments and customs reconciliation processes
- Communicated professionally in intermediate Spanish
What you'll build
- Monitor customs regulations, assess business impact, and support implementation of new requirements
- Support business initiatives and ad hoc projects from a customs perspective across the Americas and, at times, other regions
- Strengthen governance by partnering with shipping and import/export teams to ensure compliant and efficient processes
- Support the management of customs audits and compliance activities
- Help maintain customs programs, licenses, and trade compliance frameworks across the region
- Contribute to training and capability building within the wider organization

Success means becoming a trusted customs advisor who can assess regulatory change, guide stakeholders through complex requirements, and support important business initiatives with confidence. Working closely with colleagues across our Tax Organization and other business functions while helping shape customs compliance and governance across the Americas. Over time, you'll build strong relationships across the organization and become a key contributor to informed, risk-aware decision-making.
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $107,885.00 - $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
