Cyber Security Analyst

Your Role at KIK

The Cyber Security Analyst position is part of the KIK Consumer Products – Information Systems and Technology team. The Security Analyst provides support for complex computer networks, including defense techniques to deter, identify and investigate computer and network intrusions; providing incident response and remediation support; performing comprehensive computer surveillance/monitoring, identifying vulnerabilities, supporting patching practices; developing secure network designs and protection strategies, and audits of information security infrastructure. The analyst will provide technical support for continuous monitoring and computer exploitation, specifically the identification of target mapping and profiling, network decoy and deception operations in support of computer intrusion defense operations.

Further, the Analyst will research and maintain proficiency in open source and commercial computer exploitation tools, attack techniques, procedures, and trends.

This is a remote role but will have responsibilities for global locations with travel requirements ranging from 10-15%.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the vulnerability management lifecycle, including asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, risk-based prioritization, remediation tracking, reporting, and governance.

  • Monitor and administer security technologies, including PAM, PIM, EDR, SIEM, and related security platforms.

  • Perform identity security reviews including privileged access, account lifecycle management, Conditional Access, MFA, and least privilege controls.

  • Lead and coordinate incident response activities including investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident reporting.

  • Perform proactive threat hunting activities utilizing EDR, SIEM, threat intelligence, and behavioral analytics to identify and respond to emerging threats.

  • Conduct security assessments and coordinate internal and external penetration testing activities.

  • Build and maintain cyber security SOPs

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and provide security guidance, risk assessments, and recommendations aligned with cybersecurity best practices.

  • Conduct security policy compliance assessments and identify gaps, remediation opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.

  • Perform security reviews of accounts, privileged access, system configurations, and technical controls to ensure compliance with security standards and least-privilege principles.

  • Design, implement, and optimize security controls, monitoring solutions, and detection capabilities across cloud and on-premises environments.

  • Support cybersecurity governance initiatives, risk assessments, audit activities, policy development, compliance reviews, and security awareness programs.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, and provide security recommendations and risk assessments.

  • Coordinate with security vendors, managed service providers, and internal stakeholders to implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions.

  • Focus on reducing down-time and scrap reduction
  • Supervise and maintain a stable process and product quality goals
  • Troubleshooting capability for machine, auxiliary equipment (leak testers, flamers, sleeving machine, etc.) and quality related problems working towards a root cause and permanent corrective action
  • Minor repairs to blow molding and auxiliary equipment
  • Training others on blow molding operation when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work well with people in achieving shift company goals
  • Assist with various projects
  • Accurate documentation of daily production paperwork at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Build consensus and relationships with project teams and business partners through use of superior personal skills.

  • Demonstrate leadership, flexibility and the ability to lead Power Users and effectively interface with various managers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, or other business-related field is preferred, High School Diploma required

  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-location, global environment within Cyber Security or IT

  • Experienced in vulnerability management and patch management
  • Functional experience with major SIEM, EPP, EDR, PAM, PIM, MDM, MAM, DLP solution
  • Experience securing Azure cloud environments, including Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, and cloud security posture management.

  • Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Intune.

  • Experience developing security automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, APIs, Logic Apps, or similar workflow automation platforms.

  • Familiar with CIS benchmarks and security configurations

  • Understanding of IAM, CASB, CASE solutions and Azure cloud native security capabilities

  • Organized and task oriented. Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, GSEC, Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or equivalent are considered an asset

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $105,000-$115,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
