About this Role

What you’ll do

Monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber security incidents, with a particular focus on DDoS attacks and threat management activities.
Analyse alerts and network traffic to identify attack patterns, attack vectors, and malicious activity.
Implement and adjust mitigation controls, filters, and countermeasures to improve response effectiveness.
Collaborate with customers to resolve cyber security incidents and provide risk reduction recommendations.
Advise customers on recent threats, mitigation strategies, and security best practices.
Support onboarding activities for new customers and ensure successful platform integration.
Partner with sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer engagements and solution discussions.
Manage security configurations and perform operational changes required to maintain service level commitments.
Contribute to major incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues, improve operational processes, and identify automation opportunities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
Strong command of English.
Experience in cyber security incident response and threat management, ideally with exposure to DDoS mitigation operations.
Knowledge of cyberattack analysis, attack identification, and security operations practices.
Ability to analyse network packets and distinguish malicious traffic from legitimate traffic.
Knowledge of the NIST Incident Response Process and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Familiarity with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and real-time cyber threat management environments.
Experience with DDoS detection and mitigation technologies, including platforms such as Radware DefencePro, Radware DefenceFlow, or Arbor DDoS Protection.
Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, GCIH, or OSCP are highly valued.
A collaborative approach, strong analytical thinking, and a customer-focused mindset.
