What are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications environments.
• Proven experience designing security architectures for telecom networks, platforms, and cloud infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of 4G, 5G, IMS, Mission Critical Communications (MCx), OSS/BSS, and telecom operational environments.
• Expertise in telecom cybersecurity architecture and 4G/5G security standards and frameworks.
• Knowledge of GSMA, ENISA, 3GPP, ETSI, NIST, and ISO 27001 standards and guidelines.
• Experience securing RAN, Transport, EPC, 5G Core, IMS, MCx, OSS, and BSS domains.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and virtualization security technologies, including OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and VMware.
• Hands-on experience with threat modelling, security assessments, and risk analysis.
• Understanding of Zero Trust and Defence-in-Depth principles.
• Knowledge of PKI, HSM, cryptographic key management, IAM, and PAM solutions.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, and Firewalls.
• Experience producing security architecture documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and Security Blueprints.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
• Fluency in English (C1 level mandatory).
• Availability for business travel, including medium-term assignments in Sweden, with stays of up to 3 months.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, or TOGAF, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting large-scale telecom transformation initiatives involving 4G, 5G, Mission Critical Communications (MCx), Public Safety Networks, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and Industrial IoT.
• Experience defining and implementing cybersecurity frameworks and governance practices aligned with industry standards and best practices.

What will you do?

• Design end-to-end security architectures for telecommunications networks, platforms, and cloud environments.
• Define and implement cybersecurity frameworks aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
• Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, security reviews, and threat modelling exercises.
• Identify vulnerabilities, security weaknesses, and potential risks affecting telecom infrastructures and services.
• Recommend and evaluate security technologies, solutions, and vendor offerings.
• Support secure deployment and integration activities across telecom platforms, networks, and services.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and project stakeholders to ensure the adoption of security-by-design principles.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, guidelines, procedures, security blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Support customer workshops, technical reviews, and executive-level presentations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity governance, security controls, and risk management practices.
• Support the design and delivery of secure telecommunications infrastructures across complex network environments.
• Contribute to large-scale transformation projects involving cloud-native platforms, virtualization, 5G networks, and emerging telecommunications technologies.
