Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and initiatives aimed at protecting our organization from cyber threats. The internship will provide valuable exposure to a wide range of cyber security technologies, processes, and best practices. Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts from various sources, including security information and event management (SIEM) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security tools Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and address security weaknesses in our systems and networks Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Support incident response efforts by assisting in the investigation, containment, and recovery of security incidents and breaches Help maintain and enhance cyber security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance Assist in the evaluation and deployment of new security technologies and tools to enhance our defensive capabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the design and development of new systems, applications, and services Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and trends by conducting research and participating in relevant training and professional development activities Mandatory Requirements: Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in computer science, information security, or a related field Strong interest in cyber security and a desire to learn and develop new skills in the field Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common cyber security principles Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, etc., is a plus.
